All Services
Built around your needs
All new clients begin with an initial assessment before joining any group class.
Parkinson's Class
Our flagship group class. High-amplitude, PD Warrior-informed movement sessions specifically targeting Parkinson's motor symptoms in a small, supportive group.
Neuro Pilates Classes
Physiotherapy-informed Pilates for any neurological condition. Improves core stability, posture, trunk control and balance. Chair-based adaptations available.
Balance & Falls Prevention
Targeted reactive balance training, dual-task exercises and functional strength work. Rebuilds confidence in movement following neurological conditions or age-related balance loss. Seated options also available.
MS Strength & Fatigue
Gently paced functional strengthening for people with multiple sclerosis. Incorporates fatigue management and avoids post-exertional worsening.
Neuro Rehab Maintenance
For people post-NHS discharge who want to maintain progress with ongoing professional supervision. Open to any neurological condition. Rolling — no fixed block.
Initial Assessment
A one-to-one physiotherapy assessment before joining any group class. Chloe reviews your history, assesses movement and balance, discusses your goals, and recommends the most suitable class. 45–60 minutes.
The Science
Why exercise is medicine for the brain
These classes aren't adapted general fitness. They're built on the same neuroscience underpinning leading specialist rehabilitation programmes.
Parkinson's & High-Intensity Exercise
Strong clinical evidence shows that vigorous, high-amplitude exercise can slow the progression of Parkinson's symptoms. Research into high-amplitude movement programmes demonstrates measurable improvements in movement amplitude, gait and balance with regular participation.
Neuroplasticity at Every Age
The nervous system retains the ability to rewire — neuroplasticity — at any age and at any stage post-neurological injury. Targeted, repetitive movement therapy actively stimulates new neural pathways, supporting functional recovery well beyond initial rehabilitation.
Pilates & Multiple Sclerosis
Pilates-based trunk control and core stability work has been shown in multiple studies to significantly improve balance scores, reduce fatigue impact and improve quality of life in people with MS. It is among the most recommended supplemental therapies for the condition.
Falls Prevention — What Works
NICE clinical guidelines recommend physiotherapist-led balance and strength training as first-line falls prevention. Group-based programmes consistently show the strongest adherence rates and long-term outcomes in preventing repeat falls.
Methodologies
Evidence-based frameworks in use
PD Warrior®
An internationally recognised high-intensity exercise programme for Parkinson's disease, based on principles of neuroplasticity and high-amplitude movement. Clinical evidence demonstrates improvements in movement amplitude, gait speed and quality of life.
APPI Pilates Method
The Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute method modifies classical Pilates exercises using the latest research on lumbar instability, muscle imbalance and neural tension — making Pilates safe and effective for people with neurological conditions.
PWR! Moves
Parkinson Wellness Recovery — a neuro-rehabilitation approach of task-specific exercises targeting Parkinson's-specific movement deficits, incorporated into the Parkinson's Class.
Common Questions
Frequently asked
Do I need a GP referral to attend?
No referral is needed. You can contact us directly. Some clients do come via their GP, neurologist or NHS physiotherapist — and we're happy to liaise with your clinical team if helpful.
What if I have a bad day or a relapse?
Neurological conditions vary. If you're having a bad day, Chloe will adapt the session accordingly — or it may be best to rest. Blocks never expire, so you won't lose any sessions.
Can my carer or family member come with me?
Yes. Carers and family members are welcome to attend as observers, particularly for the Parkinson's Class. Just let Chloe know when you register your interest and she'll accommodate this.
I use a wheelchair / walking aid. Can I still attend?
Absolutely. All classes can be adapted for people who use mobility aids or require chair-based exercise. The assessment will allow Chloe to plan the right modifications for you.
Can private health insurance cover sessions?
Some policies do cover physiotherapy-led exercise classes. We recommend checking with your insurer. We can provide receipts and session notes to support any insurance claim.
What if I've never done Pilates before?
No prior Pilates experience is needed or expected. All classes are built from the ground up for people with neurological conditions — not adapted from general fitness Pilates. Chloe will explain everything.
Is there parking and accessibility?
Classes are held at accessible venues in Norwich with step-free access and parking nearby. Full venue details will be confirmed ahead of the first session.
How quickly will I see results?
Many participants notice improvements in confidence and specific movements within 4–6 sessions. Sustained neurological benefit builds over months of regular attendance — consistency is key.
